Here’s to Her
Here’s to Her serves to raise awareness of women’s poverty, and make students aware of the ways in which they can help women in need. Its goal is to bring students together to fundraise for donations and events that will take place at women’s shelters right here in Gainesville. Furthermore, it hopes to bring attention to the connection between women’s poverty and women’s social justice and talk about how our academic abilities can help solve these problems right now and throughout our future careers.
Graphic Design
With the use of Adobe Suite and Canva, I designed the organization logo and created over 20 feed posts and stories for social media.
Social Media Management
As Communications Director, I oversaw all social media accounts and increased Instagram content interaction by 107.6%, and made 130.8% of impressions within its first two weeks.
Event Planning
I worked with the President of Here’s to Her to coordinate safe, socially distanced volunteer events in response to changes with in-person service projects due to COVID. We brought in over 20 students in attendance to help the Gainesville community.
